The reason I go to so many political events, the reason I’m so passionate about supporting certain candidates in politics, the reason I am so argumentative sometimes, is for the simple fact that I love my country.  I believe in our potential, I believe that working together we can achieve the promise of that potential.  I believe in Us.
 
So today I wish us all a Happy 4th of July with the deep hope that better days are ahead of us.
