I am way over due on honoring the First Lady of STEM Marie Skłodowska-Curie.
She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two scientific fields. 
I wish I understood her achievements better, when I read about her most of her work is way beyond my basic science understanding.
But I know she was revolutionary.  And she passed that on to her daughters.
