As we prepare for President Carter to pass away I wanted to paint his portrait. 
There are so many reasons to mount the passing of this man and being President was only one of them.
Carter served in the Navy, was a nuclear engineer and a dedicated humanitarian.  And his 95 year long relationship to Rosalynn is an inspiring love story.
Holding his family in my thoughts.  His memory will be a blessing.
This painting measures 8” x 10” and is Oil on panel.  It will ship when dry in late March.  A portion of proceeds will go to the habitat for humanity.
