With recent focus on the problems in the British monarchy people have been talking about Princess Diana again.

Many people have spoken about the strong morals she passed in to her son Harry. I’ve seen people sharing about her shaking the hands of an AIDS patient. Many people who are younger don’t realize  how monumental this was.

I also remember her bringing attention to Landmines and visiting hospitals.

She was famously shy and the scrutiny of the press was very hard for her. I found it hard to find photos of her facing the camera directly. Only in some of her last photos when she had distanced herself from the monarchy did she seem comfortable in her own skin. Which issuesdecided to paint her as herself without any of trappings of royalty.
